finder's keepers!
Sunday 2 June 2013 //

oh god, im sorry this is up so late. my macbook has been really funny lately + then i got distracted making homemade spicy pumpkin soup + dancing around to the new she & him album in my kitchen. normal sunday night stuff you know.

so this weekend i went to The Finders Keepers Market in sydney. they have them twice a year but this is the first one ive gone too. it was really busy + significantly bigger than i had anticipated, i honestly got a little bit lost on the way there. but it was really great, it's nice to see people put so much time + effort into their own businesses +  art and have it pay off. i mostly came way thinking a) next time i need to bring more money + buy all the clothes + b) i need to be craftier + learn to sew myself really cute fat girl clothes myself.

hat - thrifted
dress - ally
belt - thrifted
bag - ebay
patent mary janes - sportgirl

this is my favourite nail polish, its this kinda gross slime-lime green from sportgirl + i like to team it with coral lipstick (honky tonk by australis). please excuse how dirty my mirror is, i didnt even realise till i looked at these photos.

i bought this lovely moonrise kingdom bunny brooch from the storybook rabbit. i was a total sucker for the perfect little frame. the woodcutting is really nice too, and smells smokey like campfires + smores which is quite fitting. all of her stuff is very lovely + well crafted + involves lots of bunnies.

i also purchased this otter tote from kirbee lawler. oh my goodness was i excited about this bag. i am utterly obsessed with otters; theyre my favourite animal but its really rare to find nice otter stuff. so when i saw kirbee's otter print i almost died. she also has an otter woodcut brooch that i would like to purchase but for now just the tote. i always ruin canvas totes (im a total grub), but this one is such nice quality i want to try + it as nice as possible for long. luckily the print is on an additional pocked so i can remove it + sew it to another tote eventually.

pretty parcel was my favourite clothing stall. it was all so well made + perfect, and i recommend having a look at them at the next market or their website.

i fell in love with this pretty parcel onesie + it was even marked down to $90 which is pretty good considering it was really good quality + peter alexander onesies are about that price anyway. but they only had a medium (size 12) left + i really spend too much on pajamas as it is. full priced onesies are available on the pretty parcel website in sizes 8-16 if you want to purchase one or like me, just stare longingly.

also! i added a c-box to this blog on the left hand side so you can leave messages without having to sign in to a blogger account. so if you'd like to say hi or anything anonymously, you now can sweetness!
